We are off to Riversdale tomorrow!  Please make sure you get organised tonight - we are leaving at 8.45am sharp tomorrow morning from DPS.  You will need a big healthy lunch, water, DPS sunhat, any medication you need and pack your togs and towel just in case.  You can wear your DPS sports uniform to school and a good idea to pack some warm clothes.  KIA KAHA!

Bike Stand
Please do not play with the chain that is used to chain the bikes up. It ends up in a drain by the bike stand and becomes very wet and smelly, covered in not very nice things! This does not make it a very pleasant job for the bike monitors.

Did you know that there are 758 million people in the world that can't read?!!! That's New Zealand's population times 168! That's heaps!

To celebrate the fact that we are lucky enough to be able to read, on Thursday at 2.30pm we are going to get into buddy classes to read a book aloud together.

To keep celebrating our reading aloud we have also made up a competition!

Send your teacher a picture of you reading a book aloud at home to go into the draw to win a book voucher to spend on your own book!

You have one week (by next Monday) to enter so get reading aloud at home and get those pictures in!
