ABC - Awesome Book Cupboard
The ABC will be open this afternoon from 3pm. You may come along and select a book to take home and read. When you have finished you can bring it back and choose another one!

Mufti Day & Ice-Blocks
The councillors will be running a mufti day on Friday 24th February. The theme is "Green and Red" and we will be raising money for Bring it to Colombo...have you got a Wairarapa Bush top at home? Or an older siblings rep top or jersey? That would be perfect to wear! Pay a gold coin to your teacher next Friday if you choose to wear mufti.
The councillors will also be selling ice-blocks for $1. More details about this next week.
Interschool Swimming Training Squad
Rata and Kahikatea kids who are in the training squad please meet at the pool after you have been let go from eating your lunch. You must have your togs on, DPS sunhat and towel - bring your goggles if you have them. Remember this is just a training squad and doesn't mean you are going to interschools - Mrs Williams will pick the team next week.
Read Aloud Day 2017
Well done everyone! You all took part in celebrating the fact that we are lucky enough to be able to read! I heard some fabulous reading as I was walking around too! Tino Pai!
